At “The Body of Praize Dance Factory” we are devoted to providing quality dance instruction to the children of the Metro Detroit area, in a fun and loving environment. Our studio offers classes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Urban and more. Our goal is to influence today’s youth to be confident, charismatic and productive in the community. One of our main distinctions is that we encourage all of our students to dance to glorify God. Therefore, we choreograph and dance to positive and up lifting music. We have high standards in morality which do not allow our students to dance to music with negative lyrics, wear revealing costumes or perform inappropriate dance movements. With the pressure of today’s permissive society, we believe we need to direct our youth in the right direction. 1 Corinthians 10:31.
VISION: To see God glorified utilizing the art of dance. Encouraging students to live their life according to the will of God and use dance as a way to communicate this throughout the world.
MISSION: To develop and cultivate the Christ like character in students through mentorship and the art of dance. Ensuring that students and spectators are aware that this is a talent given by God and should be utilized for His glory.
CONFESSION: I will dance to glorify God. People will recognize Christ by the content of my character. I will show that He lives in me and it will be evident in my attitude, movement and conduct. (Reference Scripture: Psalms 150:4 & 1 Corinthians 10:31)
